Mrs. Elizabeth Smith earned her Master鈥檚 degree in Communication Disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed as a speech-language pathologist through the Missouri Board of Healing Arts. She also holds Student Services certification through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Her previous professional experience includes working as both a private practice and school- based speech-language pathologist. She has seven years of experience in public elementary settings, serving students from preschool through 12th grade with a range of communication needs. Her private practice experience includes working closely with children and families in home environments to provide therapy services and parent education. Her professional interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism, clinical supervision, and student success.
